Gauthier Vineyard provided the lush surroundings for this radiant couple, as this day was everything I love about photographing weddings. The sun-drenched vineyard, the rich greenery, the warm, golden light. It all came together to create a perfect backdrop for a beautiful celebration. You may remember Carla and Malik from their dreamy engagement session at Norfolk Pagoda and Gardens. As soon as they agreed to their engagement session in the gardens, I knew they were going to be an incredible Angela Foushee Photography couple! I was right. They are pure magic. Carla is so thoughtful and so organized. She worked with her planner and had every detail perfectly planned for their vineyard wedding, yet she trusted me completely. That trust is the greatest gift a photographer can receive: knowing that I could capture their day authentically and naturally. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to work with!
Carla and Malik were a joy to photograph. They made us laugh, cry, and feel all the emotions that make weddings so unforgettable. What made their day even more special was the deep connection they share. You could feel it in the way they looked at each other and the way they stood hand-in-hand, soaking in every moment. During their vows, they unknowingly echoed each other’s promises, memories, and even their inside jokes! It was clear to everyone there that they are soulmates, destined to share a lifetime of joy and adventure. This is one of my favorite things to see as a Wedding Photographer in Virginia!
The best part? I had the honor of capturing these moments for them. Surrounded by their wonderful friends and family who made us feel like part of their inner circle. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of the day, but this beautiful vineyard left its mark on my heart.
